Lost - Who am I?

Did I without knowing, stray into a foreign land? A land that seems familiar, looks the same, but is not. Perhaps, like Alice, I went through the looking glass. It isn't awful, just strange Feeling like a piece of a jigsaw, But in the wrong picture. Sitting on edge of conversations, and laughter At times, it seems, carried on in foreign tongues. This land, where everyone is kind, But where you don't belong. Then a signpost, a flash of recognition; You are home. Part of the right picture? But no, you've lost the way again. This time, maybe, with just a spark of hope There is a way, and you will find it. Into a place, a picture, where you belong Changed and different. But home. You will arrive with hope.
